Sarah Wright
I qualified at St Mary’s Hospital, London in 1982.
Between 1982 and1985 I worked at University College Hospital, London and the Middlesex Hospital, London, gaining experience in all areas of physiotherapy.
In 1985 I took a post at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital. Having completed an advanced respiratory care course the following year I became head of department overseeing physiotherapy services on the intensive care surgical and orthopaedic wards. I also had responsibility for the supervision and teaching of junior staff and students from Guys Hospital.
In 1988 I moved to Sussex and have been working in the private sector since then.
My scope of practice includes:
- Musculoskeletal conditions including back and neck pain
- Sports injuries
- Joint problems, including ligament, muscle and tendon conditions
- Orthotics (moulded to measure shoe insoles)
- Respiratory conditions
