One of the biggest changes to UK data privacy law comes into effect 25 May 2018.

The General Data Protection Regulation known as GDPR, is a really positive step towards you having more control over how your data is used.

The changes will not affect the way we use your information but will help to better protect your personal data.

The personal information (name, address and date of birth) you give us is important and keeping it safe and secure and only for the amount of time necessary has always been, and will remain, our top priority.

We have a legal obligation to keep this confidential information you give us and it is only used by Goring Physiotherapy Clinic to:

  • Enable us to keep good, accurate and up to date records
  • Keep accurate accounting information
  • Send you information via your contact details relating to your treatment e.g. exercises and appointments
  • We only share your information, with your consent, as necessary to provide a quality physiotherapy service
